She currently serves as President and CEO of the Solano County Black Chamber of Commerce, where she applies her executive leadership and business acumen to support small businesses in generating revenue, expanding access to opportunity, and scaling sustainably. Under her leadership, the Chamber has received numerous local, regional, and statewide accolades recognizing its economic and community impact.

A long-standing mental health advocate, Tamuri is a Speaker, Presenter, and Trainer for NAMI San Francisco Mental Health Committee. She is committed to dismantling stigma around mental illness—particularly within African American and marginalized communities—and champions access to shame-free, culturally competent care as a foundation for personal, professional, and societal success. Her advocacy includes addressing legislators at the California State Capitol to advance equitable and effective mental health policy.
She is also an award-winning former member of Toastmasters International. In 2018, she earned consecutive Area and District-level International Speech Contest awards for her speeches Reinventing Yourself and Stand Up and Stand Your Ground.
